Whoever plays better than the other when they get here.

Yes, I think they could be better than Rivers right off the bat. Once again I'll say just whoever plays better than the other when they get here.

I haven't seen footage on Rettig, but what I've seen on Jennings has me super excited. Although, a lot of that is from Mett pulling this all year...

Whichever one shows they are up to SEC game-speed intheir decision-making.

If necessary, but Mett/Rivers/Randle are all capable and experienced in the program, so if LSU decides to redshirt, I won't mind.

Mett is still a good QB, aside from him getting hurt, these guys aren't going to start. It wasn't a Mett issue in the Clemson game, it was a pass protection issue. Our right side got blown up all game.

Whichever one is most like Teddy Bridgewater.

Accurate, doesn't make many mistakes, and moves well in the pocket.

Better question, why would you even come here if you were either of these guys?

Jennings. Passer first, but can run. Rettig = Mettenberger.

I hope the coaches give both serious looks about starting next year if they are worthy. My gut feeling is Jennings will have the edge early, but Rettig has the greater upside.

I'm guessing they will stagger them by redshirting one QB and letting the other play...

Just by watching videos and reading a bit, I think Rettig will fit better in our system. He is a pro-style guy but he's got enough mobility to move around the pocket or escape if he has to.. unlike Mett.

Only time will tell though.

Seriously, with our lack of pass protection, we need a mobile QB. If we improve our oline, then maybe we can utilize a pocket passer. Otherwise it is a waste of time...

Mett is way too slow and immobile with our oline...
