BATON ROUGE – LSU's players have stood up and owned their upset loss to Clemson in the Chick-fil-A Bowl Monday night.
“Definitely want to apologize to the Tiger Nation for letting them down,” consensus first team All-American safety Eric Reid said. “In the most critical part of the game, it was completely my fault.”

He blames himself for not making the play, and you're holding that against him as selfish?

I am waiting for Les to shoulder the blame and find a real O.C.

Torched? Reid was in position, he moves his hand five cm, and he probably makes the play. He got beat on an NFL quality throw and catch by two guys playing the game of their lives.
Torched is more like what happened to Simon. He got used all night...by a really good player, but still...used.

Give. The ball. To Hill.
And I'm not even talking about that last series in the 4th. I mean all game long. Hill should have been getting the carries all game long. I was screaming in the first quarter to keep giving it to Hill. Then, of course, we inexplicably stopped and brought in Ware and Ford.
It's not all on the coaching, but a lot of it is. The defense played their asses off that night though, so it definitely isn't on them.

After being on the damn field for 100 plays, I'm sure any player would get torched by then. Get a damn OC and players would not try to take blame for a coach making over 4 million now.

Our players are schooling our $4M head coach on how to accept responsibility for results. To bad Les will never understand.

I love that the players are willing to take responsibility...but it's more coaching than them IMO.
Tebow-esque?

bullshite this loss is 100% on the coaches. Hell I could have called better offensive plays.
Just watch the bowl games with good coaching they look nothing like our cluster frick of an offense. We need to get rid of the whole damn offensive staff.

100 plays later?
Defense is not an issue. Some of the offensive coaches should shoulder the blame.

Florida's sure killing it right now. USC got a whopping seven points. Stanford was held to seventeen points.
