What do teams think when they watch film on LSU offense

I know they normally put alot of time into film study.
Do you think that when they are watching our offensive film they just call it a short day:
Saban: Ok boys, lets knock off
Smart: Coach its only 8:45
Saban: yeah I know, lets go take in a movie, nothing left to see here.
Surely they just look at each other and wonder what in the hell they are seeing, and not in a good way.

They must have a secret playbook

Think? They don't have to think

They know to put 8-9 in the box every play and trust mett will continue to overthrow receivers in 1-on-1 coverage. Maybe blitz occasionally, but other than that, no surprises are coming

It's all in preparation.
It does seem that every team knows how to scheme against us. Clemson gave up 374 yards to a 3 win Auburn team. LSU gained 219 yards against that same defense.
Yet, LSU put up 400 yards of offense against Bama.
Miles does not prepare his team like he does for Bama. If Miles prepared LSU week in week out like he does for Bama, I really don't think anyone would have a problem.

this thread is in jest, but I dont believe what you are saying is accurate, because that does not explain both abortions of offensive gameplans against Alabama last year
Yes if all the stars align and we play perfectly we can have some success. But a good scheme should allow for just a little bit of

Like other teams waste time watching film on the LSU defense, probably 1000% more productive to watch film on the defense all the time.

Would be as well off watching a few episodes of the three stooges. Oh and of course thjnking they must surely have a secret playbook they just dont want any team in the country to know about.

We know from coaches comments that Towson concluded that LSU's passing game was nothing to be feared and that Clemson concluded that Miles' version of offensive creativity was the fullback lead.
I don't think that it takes long to break down the LSU film.

They think, "Sam ole basic crapola, not an issue". And sometimes, "Hey that play worked great but not an issue. It was successful and we will never see it again this year!" And....."here it comes....see there it was....CLM did that 'what happened' phrase again!" And finally, "don't change the game film to Tosh.0.....this is better!" LOL here.

Or that #33 looks badass, but not to worry, once he starts rolling through us, they will sit him for the rest of the game.

Yes I concur. Make a great play or dominate at RB or WR....earn a loooong rest on the sideline. Fasho bro!

Do you remember what Towson (yep, Towson) defensive players said? They knew what LSU was going to do.

The one they really do learn from watching films is how to clean out their ears really well. And of course how to show tv viewers the correct way to pick their noses

Since they usually get the plays split up by an assistant coach or service, they probably spend the morning wondering where the "misdirection" DVD is and why the "wide receiver screens" and "up the middle" are 10 disk collections.

Yes.
All teams show tendencies and that is what film study is for, I get that, but alot of people said they knew what play Jimbo was calling, I never bought that because Jimbo seemed to use all parts of the field in the passing game.
Our offensive staff not only is predictable in a run pass orientation, but we only use certain portions of the field. The fact that we didnt have 10 pick sixes against us this year still amazes me.
