I don't believe this, nf. I was arguing against the folks who are saying the second down call was a bad one. Naturally, since I'm discussing one play, my arguments only center around that one play.
Ultimately the head coach is responsible or everything.
This wasn't Miles' best product this year. They were very good, but once the Bama loss put us out of contention, the team sleepwalked through the rest of the year. It's human nature.

It was horrible. The third down play I understand. The second down call was just idiotic.
. The passing game was out of sync the whole second half, your RB's are averaging 7 YPC (yet your best one is on the bench the whole 4th quarter) and you want to burn time, and/or make them use timeouts.
The second down call was stupid.

I actually thought this team did better than they could have. This could have been a 5-6 loss team. The inexplicable always seems to happen in crunch time though.
Miles needs to do something with that offense, he isn't leaving himself many options when they may be needed.
