I agree. When Florida St finished in the top 5 fourteen years in a row they went 11 and 3 in bowl games.

People will soon start seeing Miles for the baboon he is. Top recruits will go elsewhere. With Miles, maybe another year or two at most...

The talent is there, but execution is lacking. Miles continued questionable decision making ability leaves serious cause for concern that the top will not be obtainable although all the pieces are there right before our eyes.

we finished the regular season undefeated last year. good god men. We will rack in another highly ranked class and i think we will be fine next year as long as some players do a little growing up over the off season.

We never were... We just got better than we used be to prior to Saban. A national championship does not denote eliteness, and a second with a two loss regular season does not either.

What they do is create an attitude of false arrogance. A group of whiners when the rest of college football, their fans, and the sports media don't pay homage to us. We whine that we got screwed last year having to play Alabama again. So what??? An elite team goes out and beats them worse than the first time.

We whine that we got screwed and had to play an ACC team in the "Chicken" bowl. So once again this pseudo-elite group of fans and team members trundle off with an attitude to play an inferior foe in an inferior bowl. And we get our asses kicked again.

I recall the glory days when we were not considering ourselves elite and too good to play anyone. These were days of "Holy Crap we made a bowl", and we showed up excited and kicked arse.

We're so elite that we let a riverboat gambler turned football coach fake an agreement with Arkansas and not only get a new contract but a raise.

Would that we could end this era of ridiculous expectations and the resulting disappointments, and get back to enjoying the game and our team.

How someone could not consider LSU and elite program now is beyond me.

Saban brought LSU back, and Miles has maintained the program.

I'm a 49 year old Alabama fan, and I sure remember when LSU, just like Florida, would be considered having a comparatively good season at 7-4.

I'm 66 and this is sick. The Big 10 has sucked for decades and is showing it now in the bowl games. We are not elite... we are a big 10 Michigan also-ran offense wasting our recruits futures while our incredibly over paid coach tries to emulate his hero Bo who couldn't win the big ones either.;

We are about 13 points away from an elite program and 35 points away from a dynasty.
