Did it look as bad on tv as it did in person? Big 10 officials?

(LSU still should have easily won the game)

They couldn't handle the speed of the game and had no clue what pass interference was.

Unless LSU did it, then they knew.

...well - it was pretty bad. Clemson got a little help from the zebras with getting to run 100 plays .. esp. a few of the P.I. calls , and some late hit helmet-to helmets on Clemson missed.. BUT , bottom line , our offense SUCKED so bad, we did NOT deserve to win .. fact is, the orange tiger outplayed us up and down the field. Just look at the stats. Can't put too much blame on the D , they got gassed, and well they should have. We 3-and-out the whole 2nd half. We get NOTHING. The D on the field WAY too much. No player can hold up under that type of stress ... late in the game 4 or 5 of our top defensive guys out of the game ( Mingo, Sonic Sam, and a few others - off the field . ) Put this loss on the offense, and sucky play calling. True dat, cher. True dat.

I thought it was horrible.

-The fumble they called and incomplete pass would have stopped that Clemson drive.

-I saw several pass interfence calls against us that were bullshite, but a few Clemson didnt get called for.

-Saw holding the Clemson line didnt get called for.
I am not saying that is why we lost, we were out played and outcoached(Offensively).

I take it you missed the game stats somewhere along the way.

Actually, they were reserve / substitute SEC refs who live in Tuscaloosa. Wasn’t it obvious?

I'm not a ref-ranter and I never will be, but we definitely had more questinoable calls go against us than they did.

This.

I always ask could we have still won the game despite the calls that went against us. And the answer is definitely yes on this one IMHO.

What was the deal with the Delay of Game call on our defense? Hard to tell from the stands.

Geez people. Can you not discuss separate aspects of a game?

I think everyone agrees that LSU lost the game because of poor offense and terrible play calling - especially at the end. And yes the defense was on the field way too long thanks in large part to inept offense.

But,
The officiating is the topic of this thread. Thanks to the guys who answered my questions.

Called Rasco for making un-football moves to try to draw the offense offsides.

Their offensive player moved, our player pointed at him, refs called him for delay of game.

Officiating was horrible. So was our playcalling.

Hard to tell on tv/replay too.
Looked like total horse shite.

Only thing i can figure is he was clapping and saying "hut/hike/go/whatever their snap call was" at the same time

Yeah I forgot about thay call that left us wondering what that was about.

It also seemed like they kept adding time back on the clock. The head official looked about 80 years old.
