I'm grateful he had one last great year left in the tank for us.

I think had he gotten one more, I think he would have broken a record. I can't remember which one it is.

Like how the consecutive TD pass streak lasted for 50+ years the single season INT record has stood longer...

Night Train Lane, 14 picks in 1952! Since then only Lester Hayes for the Raiders in 1980 reached 13. Granted there were some pretty awful QBs then. But it was a way run-first league too and those records were in a 12 game season (25% smaller than today). A true legendary player. His play is what invented the phrase 'clothes lining". Grabbing the facemask as a penalty also came about cuz he discovered it as a very effective means of taking players down.
