Thanks so much for posting this link. Just an incredible tribute to a band that had so much influence on my formative years. Awesome.

It was and is perfection.
Ann and Nancy Wilson and a full choir, it must have been amazing to be there for it in person. Yo-Yo Ma gets it.

i posted this in the performance that move u to tears thread, but i'm like dangerfield, no respect.
i have watched this a dozen times. lenny kravitz represented nicely as well, and kid rock displayed yet again why he belongs in a trailer park. he was an embarrassment.

Jack Black had the perfect intro
The thought that LZ would be hailed when the Kennedy Center Honors started in 1978 would have been unthinkable. We are making progress in some realms of society I spose.
HERE is the Buddy Guy part too. Amazing that a guy born and raised an hour north of Baton Rouge gets more national & international acclaim than he does locally.

Kid Rock was truly bad. That new Nirvana singer wasn't a whole lot better. Kravitz was OK. They would have done much, MUCH better just to let Ann and Nancy do the whole thing. Those chicks can play the hell out of Led Zeppelin, and I mean the whole range of it.

Outstanding.
Best rock roll band ever formed.

It's absolutely embarrassing that Kid Rock would even be considered to perform a tribute to Led Zeppelin, much less perform it on national tv

I thought he did good job.
Same could be said for the Mississippi mass choir helping with stairway.
I said once that early heart (70s) had a LZ twang to it, some people gave me shite over it.
YouTube love alive.
They also performed last song...hmmmmmmm.

Actually, I saw Led Zepplin live twice in the early 70's, I've listened to bootleg concert versions, watched numerous videos of live versions.. and saw bar bands perform the instrumentals to perfection (never Plants voice though) and IMO the K.C.H. performance was the best I ever saw.

The lead singer of Train Pat Monahan did a cover of "Ramble On" that sounds awesome. I don't know why he didn't do it.

I thought that Foo Fighters did a really great version of Rock And Roll.
Like Robert Plant, I was moved to tears by the entire tribute. I'm glad I saved it on my DVR to watch again.

very good. I can´t stand Mrs. Obammer, her feigned interest and clumsy well wishing and salutes were oh so bad.
Thanks for sharing, that was very nice.
