This philosophy indicates the kid should be treated like a peace of meat. what you can do in football is all you are worth. you, as kid/person, doesn't matter. he doesn't have any self worth, only athletic worth. What a @$$ hole.

DeCarlos Holmes left Shreveport with criminal charges pending and the same reputation he earned in Bastrop.
However, he is now at St. Aug., not "some little piece of shite public high school".
Families are involved there, so he's now a model citizen.

Well these kids are going to school based on footballl scholarships so that's a pretty dumb point.
