Dishes that hold up well after being frozen

My cousin is having a "casserole" shower this weekend. She is due with her third child next month and they want to "stock the freezer" with things that can be simply defrosted since she'll be preoccupied with the baby.
Do the ballers of the Food and Drink Board have any good suggestions for dishes that hold up well after being frozen? Maybe a tasty casserole dish that heats up well or a favorite make-ahead dish? Thanks in advance!

Gumbo, Chili, and Spaghetti Sauce come to mind.
Soups would work as well.

i got some lasagna in the freezer right now. a couple sites said it does well in the freezer

Lots of stuff freezes well short term! Most everything the hens will bring will freeze, just eat them within 3 weeks or so. Freeze in Ziploc containers or storage bags.

Vegetable soup (without the pasta if you use that)
You can make soup bases for puréed soups minus the milk product like cream of eggplant, asparagus, sweet potato...
I make Brigtsen's shrimp and sweet potato and freeze the base before cooking or adding the cream. Works great.
Raw meatloaf
Lasagne
Stews
Coq au vin
Chicken cacciatore
Cannelloni
Red gravy/meat balls
