Born and raised in Shreveport, have always hated the cowboys. Have been a diehard Saints fan long b4 Payton and Brees. BUT! Most of the people I knew when I was there in the 80s were cowboy fans.

frick Shreveport, Texas. Anywhere that has to take a vote whether to broadcast their own states professional football team vs a neighboring states game is fricking pathetic. All the dumbasses that start threads here asking us to go "vote" so they can watch the saints game either need to move or join the majority of cowboys fans that live there.

Yea, fox had a poll for people to choose Saints or Fagboys game. I don't remember what won because I have Sunday Ticket and DGAF.

Nothing is worse that Shreveport Cowgirl fans so today has been wonderful for me.

Dallas is 1-2 hours closer to Shreveport than Nola. Lots of Cowboy and Rangers fans here. Quit being a butthurt douche about something that doesn't affect you

I got so annoyed when Espn said baton Rouge was cowboy's country because mo Claiborne ssid he grew up a Cowboys fan. Dumb asses didn't realize he wasn't from baton Rouge.

Shreveport shares a tv station with a bunch of cities in Texas. The reason they have the vote is because they have a lot of viewers in Texas that are cowboys fans. It's the fact that Shreveport is so heavily saints fans that allows the saints to carry the vote every time. The ignorance in this thread baffles me

This. Moved to Birmingham in 88. Shreveport was mostly Cowboy fans when we left. It has turned 180 degrees since. Look on the bright side I have to buy the NFL package to watch the Saints.

What if I was a Cowboys fan before the Saints franchise even existed? Also, can I be a fan of both?

Fan short for 'fanatic'.
So I can't see such for more than one team. But thats just me.

There was also a hell of a lot more Saints fans in Independence stadium for a pre season game than there were in Tiger Stadium when the Saints played the Dolphins. Now that should be an embarrassment to all these tards that think living south of Opelousas is a badge of honor.

Wtf are u talking about? That game was packed. Only reason there were empty seats is because tiger stadium holds 94k ppl and the saints were only allowed to sell the # of seats that the superdome held.
