New PS plus games are going up today. If the store will work properly I hope to have dragons crown to play tonight if anyone wants some co-op.

I'm almost positive you have to complete a little bit of offline story in order to do online multiplayer.
Not 100% on that.
Yeah, you can play FF1-10 + some others on Vita. Pretty cool. I may get FF3, all I have is the meh DS release.

I never played FF7 so I figure this is a good way to try it.
If I have to advance through the story then I can play on vita for a bit first. It has cross save.

Correct. It has cross save and cross play. You can play him on the PS3 version with you on Vita and vice versa.

Ranger? I think they called it that but it's your typical bow long range character.

Ranger/Elf is tough. I'd recommend something easier to start out with.

So I haven't started dragon's crown. I did watch some of the cutscenes/character selection and there are no lack of DD's. Oauron, what is the part of the game that stands out game wise?

I like just about everything about it. Each character is super different from each other. It's a lot of fun switch around with old school side scrolling combat. I can definitely see how it put some people off, but it has lots of customization and it's very deep. The 2D art looks so lively and absurd. I find it all endearing.

I wish this and muramusa didn't hit plus at such close times. Because of that, my first thought is that its very muramusa like (which i believe it is from the same developers, so it makes sense).

Give it a shot. It wasn't bad but I didn't find it very good either. It lost my interest quickly.

It's definitely very similar. But dragons crown is more brawler and has four player coop.
Muramasa is single player only and has different combat elements. Both made by same small developer.
