I got it as a gift on 3ds and I couldn't finish it. It was just boring and pointless to me

Sony has some good sales for vita

Why didn't you just keep playing and get to the real endings? The last 3 months of the game fly by.

I had no clue what made me not get to the real endings. Didn't think I would be able to jump back and make the correct decisions to get them.

How do you guys hold the vita? I can't find a grip I'm comfortable with yet.

They make grips you can buy if it bothers you.

Six bucks is a good deal. I would buy them but the small form factor works better for me taking it on trips.

It's the choices you make regarding the person associated with the Joker persona.

Really? I've heard lots of good things about Vita version. Never heard anyone who played the 3DS version.

I couldn't stand it. Maybe the vita version is different but I don't think it was. I'm also a big batman fan too so for me to not like it should say something.

So the first Persona is on sale for $5. I think it's a sale, PSN has it under deals but didn't mark it down. LINK
Will it be too out of date?

Wow, I just checked and it's $50 for Persona 1, 2, 3, and 4. That's so much video game.

That's a tough one. They did remake it in 2009/2010 and tidied up some of the gameplay. It's still very old school, but it's definitely playable.

I wouldn't start with that one though.

I'd start with 3 or 4. Both are good choices.
