This implies that we were recruiting him in the first place. Why would we wait for Arkansas to screw over an instate player that would have killed to come to LSU?

Blanchard wasn't really considered by LSU even before his Arkansas commitment. He was entertained with the idea of possibly playing another position but no one expected an offer to go his way. If LSU would've taken a RB in this class, it most likely would've been Adam Taylor from Katy, TX but the staff wasn't sold on him either. It's all in for Fournette.

He is local to the BTR area. He is not bad but I did not see him set the world on fire either. My sons HS team beat the dog squat out of them and we barely made the playoffs. I am surprised to see 4* on him. 3* would be about right for major college IMHO.
