I compared the Balvenie Doublewood to the Carribean Cask tonight. I probably need to spend more time on the Carribean Cask since I am almost finished with the doublewood bottle, but I think I preferred the doublewood. It had a more intense, smokey flavor. The Carribean Cask was still very good and you can really taste the rum. Both are great, but the nod goes to DW ( it's cheaper too).

I respectfully disagree. Then again, I'm a bourbon guy. The whole smokey scotch thing is what I hate(d) about scotch. I find the Carribean Cask to be great-in fact, it's what I'm sipping now. It has just a hint of "scotchiness" at the tail to identity it as such. Very smooth, very enjoyable.
