Nice. I have a family member who's in distribution but refuses to help out a brother.

That's cool Unc. Spreading the wealth. I collect rare beers to share at my home bar with my buds and homebrewers. Good times.

Jflsu, if you ever decide to sell some of your bourbon county I'll buy from you. I have a homebrewer friend who would love to have some

I will let you know if I don't get a trade. I've had a couple of other guys tell me they wanted a couple of bottles as well.

allocated bottle that you didn't necessarily want you would pass it up instead of buying it and trying to trade for something else.

In addition to the Handy, I have a WLW and Stagg. But it's going to take a lot for me to part with those.

I'm sure if your local called you with an allocated bottle that you didn't necessarily want you would pass it up instead of buying it and trying to trade for something else.

You're kinda being a shite about this. I passed on at least 2 cases of BCBS and a case of the barleywine. Easily. I guess I could have bought it all and flipped it, but I'm not in this to engineer my own personal profit. I guess I'm a bad capitalist? I'd much rather someone I know get what I passed on because I had my fill, or, god forbid, someone that's never had it before try it fall in love with the scene.

Maybe that makes it more scarce for me, but adding their dollars to mine is what promotes the growth of the industry. Dammit. I tried to back away. I guess I'm butthurt.

You're also equating the bourbon market with the beer market, which is inherently fallacious.

Gonna go find another pour and I promise I will do my best to shut the hell up. I need to.

I'm trying not to remember this damn game

I had some of that Son of Bourye, which was real nice. I seem to recall you told me about that one! Switched over to a little plain Saz, gonna nurse it for a bit until game time. How you doin' Unc?

Im not trying to engineer personal profit. I'm just trying to turn beer into Bourbon. There are many who drink both beer and Bourbon and I figured someone may want a case of BCBS more than that bottle of ORVW 10 or something similar that they got last week. It's an equal trade both retail and secondary. I could have easily done this on the secondary market but I chose to see if someone wanted to do this locally. But it's not worth it. I will take down my post.
