If we pull Willis that would give us 5 of the top 30 cornerbacks in the country according to rivals I know brazil and Jefferson could switch sides/positions but that's still crazy even for DBU.

Our juniors leave more often because they are better. We consistently have one of the most talented team in the country.

Tharold is gone. He should probably stay, but it's looking like he's done. He may change his mind, but that's highly unlikely
You also have to consider the risk of injury if you stay another year. You might improve your draft position by staying, but will it be of an increase in signing bonus to offset one year's wear and tear to your body? Can you guarantee that you will improve your draft status given the 20 hours of practice restriction, or do you go begin working full time on improving as a player while getting paid?

If Simon goes, and I thnk he will, I won't second guess him. He is making a career decision, and those are seldom easy. I hope he has people who are giving him good advice rather than advice that is best for the advisors.

This is stupid. Seems to me like Shepp stayed for his senior year, Mett is going to stay for his senior season. PP7 and Claiborne were both top 10 picks. You don't stay when you are a top 10 pick.
Just like Dont'a Hightower, Dre Kirkpatrick, and Trent Richardson didn't. Other notables that left early include Justin Blackmon, RGIII, and Alshon Jeffrey. This was all in the 2012 draft.

So basically this was just a completely retarded statement.

I know there are people who are telling him he needs to stay in school, but it doesn't seem like he's listening to that advice. He seems to have made up his mind.

A kid's pro talent is an asset, liek any other and there has to be a risk/ benefit analysis of the extra year of college play.
Thew risk of a career ending injury is real, but small. There is the same risk in year one of the pros.
The benefit of additonal "lifetime earnings" (and not simply next year's earnings) arising out of 1) another year of college experience; 2) in different draft class; and the 3) additional credit toward a colege degree is part of the calculus.
THe latter consideration is more important to some than others, but is often overlooked.
Yes, if you have babies, be fair to them. Consider whether your LIFETIME earnings will likely be increased by another year in college, and how that will help them in years to come.

He's gone. Jalen Collins has an article on scout.com where he says he'll be the oldest cb on the roster next year

Simon played soft this year like he was afraid of getting hurt and damaging his chance to go pro.

I wish him well and support that decision.

Looking like Logan and maybe Minter are the only ones possibly coming back. Losing so many JRs is gonna take a toll.
