You have said that you want to play corner in college, is that still your preference?

Willis: “I know the spot that Tharold Simon currently holds is a position I would be able to compete for, as well as being able to show my versatility and playing some free safety in certain packages. I wouldn’t even mind getting some opportunities at the nickel position.”

Hmmmm it wouldn't hurt as much seeing Simon go if that means us getting Priest Willis.

Well obviously he is "entertaining" the NFL. We have all heard that they are getting their draft reports, if they like their position and its the best move then they will enter the draft. I don't think a quote from a recruit really tells us anything about a players status.

Well yeah I'm sure he's thinking about it, but nothing in that quote says he's leaving.

You're reading way too much into a comment from a kid. By the time he's ready to play the position, Simon will be gone one way or another.

It doesn't mean "Willis" is talking about next year specifically, however with that said, I thought all along that Simon was leaving.

This board often overrates the draft stock of LSU players but I think in Simon's case, he's gonna go higher than many of you think.

That's all I've heard. He has a fiance and a daughter to support

Tharold is gone. He should probably stay, but it's looking like he's done. He may change his mind, but that's highly unlikely.

This secondary is very young and depleted. Really hoping Reid and Simon stay. They will be desperately needed next year to help get the young guys some experience.

Simon took a step back this year. He actaully played better last year imo. If he doesn't regain that level of play then we won't be hurt much by him leaving probably. If his play were to elevate back to the previous seasons level then crap. I guess I will never really know.
