I'm trying to hold off on buying anything new other than replace the reel that broke on me, but if I do get something new it'll probably be a new combo for Texas rigs since I fish that 70% of the time. Probably a 7' MH duckett and either a Revo SX or Curado E if there are still new ones floating around out there. Possibly even a Chronarch.

All the E series Curados I see on eBay are pretty pricey.

I thought everybody hates OT boats
Yesterday Fred told me in a thread I started that he was thinking about letting GCS back so that my threads wouldn't be so terrible by comparison, but he was wrong and I am beyond help. Then he deleted the thread.
Meanie.

I'll probably get a Revo SX then. It's just as good of a reel especially for freshwater. I'd just worry a little about the magnets over time in saltwater.

Favorite would probably be...
7' Abu Veritas rod
7.1 BP Carbonlite reel

I also like the Revo inshore, but I need to use one in the field to really see how they are.

The only time I see you post on the OT is to tell me I've gone full sportsman again

What really needs to happen is a split of the OT. Make a social board so TD can have a real, funtional off topic board.
