I am working towards that, just ordered 2 more lowers this morning. Going to run this newish polymer lower from these guys Tennessee Arms
Apparently Frank Proctor has been running one for about 6k rounds without issue. The metal inserts in known trouble areas seen in other polymer lowers seems like a great idea and should work out.

those are on the back burner for a new custom bolt build I'm starting, which should buy me time to get a bigger safe

Looks good. However I see no 308 AR's and that worries my heart.

I'm a big fan of the octane 45 over the osprey. May want to look into that avenue.

I used to have an AR-10T but got rid of it because it weighed 18lbs and I never shot it. one day I will get back into the 308 AR world

I want a deer hunting caliber. what is the best caliber without going to the AR10 platform?
Posted on 12/30/14 at 7:44 pm to tiddlesmcdiddles
My Buddy just killed a deer today with a 223 .
Posted on 12/30/14 at 8:02 pm to Hu_Flung_Pu
It's not impossible but it's far from "the best caliber for deer"

I wouldn't hunt deer with a 223 round. But that's just me
