Listen, guys.
The only reason they blew a 28 point lead & allowed the tie is because Harbaugh called his good buddy Les Miles and said "Hey, you can come call our plays for the rest of the game!"

BUMP
Vegas thinks the Pats are better, but I respectfully disagree. Niners are such a complete, dominant team. The defense is the best in the NFL, and the offense is suddenly looking like a juggernaut. I have a lot of trouble pointing out a big weakness in this team.

I think it's very even, and honestly would not fault anyone for thinking the 49ers look better.
That being said, it has been a long time since I've seen such a horrendous defensive game plan from one coach. After rewatching the game, they attempted to use Erik Walden as a QB spy on Colin Kappernick. When that failed, they attempted to use outside pressure to force him to throw, but the inside never really pushed up, giving him lanes to run/throw. If only they had a fast player that is nimble and a pretty sure tackler to spy Kaepernick. Hell, if he won a Heisman in college, it'd be so much better.

Niners have a tendency to make defensive gameplans look horrible.
Kind of expected with the best offensive line in the league, great runing game, great receivers, and a clutch as frick dual threat QB.

I'll agree with most of those, but I'm not going to agree with great receivers.
Other than Crabtree, they are average as frick.

Classic VerlanderBEAST! Everyone makes fun of PeeJay for being wrong but Verlander is actually worse!

Niners could benefit from a better field goal kicker and a good receiver and TE to compliment Crabtree.

Not as good as Bill Belichick and Patriots and that's all that matters.

Patriots are every moronic sports fans favorite little pet, OMG NOBODY CAN BEAT BELLICHICK AND THE PATRIOTS!!!
Newsflash: those soft choking fricks haven't won a Superbwol in 8 fricking years.

Colin said it on his show the other day, but I really think the only two teams in the league without obvious weaknesses going into the Draft this season are Seattle and San Fransiso.
I've also agreed for a while that when they play their A game, they're the best in the league (yes better than New England). People are just now seeing how good Kaepernick is. It's funny looking back at that Boise team people ripped on for losing to Nevada. That Nevada team was loaded with Kaepernick and Rishard Matthews, but none of the media clowns even knew their names.
The only identifiable weakness I could see is the lack of a #2 WR. Crabtree is turning into the stud we thought he was, but they really don't have a #2. They have 2 damn good TEs, but they could use another WR to spread the field. They get away with this by using Kaepernick's zone read action to create lanes, however.
The only problem with the 49ers is consistency. Take this week for example. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get atleast a B+ game from the Falcons. They've shown their consistency for years under Smith. However, I'm not as sure I'll see an A vs. a C game from the 49ers. If we see their best, there's no way the Falcons stay on the field with them. San Fran's ceiling is just so much higher.

Charles Woodson and Clay Mathews are very offended by this.
Niners are good. Fanfrickingtastic. They had a better record last year and a TO machine defense. They still lost at HOME to the 9-7 NY Giants.
Since this thread is about how good they are its all relvant but none of the last 4 pgs means shite anymore.

They HAD a good #2 Mario Manningham that was their 3rd leading reciever. He gone with a knee. Kevin Williams had a decent year and was coming on late. He gone ankle/knee. AJ Jenkins is a huge disappointment. Ted Ginn Jr isnt a reliable anything.
But Im saying this in front of God and Country....Randy Moss will make some huge plays this weekend.

How do you earn the reputation as clutch as frick when you have played a few regular season games and one playoff game. Don't you think that is a little premature?
