Granada holds 1400. So, pretty similar to the Varsity.

800 is similar to 1400?

Really?

It's almost twice as big!

I agree with this.

I thought this guy would come in and be the messiah for the venue. I want to see acts like this, not the Deftones. It's becoming a disappointment.

Spanish Moon pulls better acts than the Varsity, and they are a third of the size.

Your hurting the varsity by starting these threads, if i was the talent buyer, i would tell you to stop posting. Just my 2 cents.

I don't take anything you say about music very seriously. No offense.

Every thread I've done to break an announcement, the band has sold out the venue in presale..

Soooo

"Better" because of the bands you like

Lets be honest

150 people in the spanish moon is full

150 people in the varsity is a drop in the bucket

Dude, the Deftones are one of the biggest and most influential rock acts still playing. They just released an album in 2012 that has sold well. I can't think of many bigger rock bands that the Varsity could get.

The bands that play Spanish Moon play venues like Stubb's in Austin during the same tour.

I gave two medium sized venues that were on both sides of the Varsity's 800 capacity. You were saying the bands I listed couldn't fill the Varsity, and now you're complaining I'm using a bigger venue as a point of comparison. I don't think all these bands sell out the Granada, but you were saying no way should the Varsity book Crooked Fingers, when I saw them at Granada, an even bigger venue.

Punch Brothers are playing the Granada, but the very similar Trampled by Turtles would only get 100 people at the Varsity? That's the argument?
