See I'm not a fan of those stats....
Mainly because he went against Weaver, Wilson, Etc... The stadium might be a cause for lower numbers but the pitchers he faced are a larger cause....
Like last year, 28 AB 4 hits 3 walks 9 strike outs .143 avg
Year before 43 AB 13 hits 2 walks 6 strike outs .302 avg
Home/road splits are more telling and Hamilton has shown advantage to playing at home. Power numbers will suffer a bit but not extremely probably, maybe a few more doubles even.
Home: .325/.382/.632
Road: .302/.358/.534
(3 year average)

Actually the broke it out on MLB Network tonight and said he's mashed on bad pitching and struggled vs good pitching.

Anaheim is a pitcher's park regardless of who is pitching. It depresses their own hitters' numbers as well, who don't go up against the Angels' staff which, wasn't as great as advertised last year anyway.
Hamilton is a boom or bust hitter. He strikes out a ton, and I can see him getting real frustrated in Anaheim. I think the Rangers have totally screwed the pooch this offseason, but I also think the Angles are going to regret this signing. The big winner of this deal is the A's.
