re: LSU Athletic Department donated 45% of its 2012 profits to the University

I think it is great that the AD donates this money to the overall University. Would those of you that object rather have them raise tuition? I worked as an accountant for another large state university in another state. Like any large organization, whether it be Federal, state or private, there is waste. Without even looking, I know there are way too many overpaid administrators and not enough teachers. Way too many research grants and not enough people who are helping students be all they can be. It is the way of the world. Accept it or do something about it.
