Yes certainly I agree with you. We could all do better. I don't have direct insight into main campus finances, but I do have insight into other campuses. Just the sheer size of LSU main campus creates inefficiency. The rumor was that Mike Martin was not very good, but its only a rumor for me.
But I do not think changing administration will magically turn things around, unless we completely reinvent LSU as a much smaller university. I dont believe you make a university stronger by simply cutting its funding.
My frustration is the indifferent or hostile attitude that so many express while simultaneously wearing LSU merchandise. If they hate LSU that is fine, but then they should wear Bama or A&M shirts.

With all due respect, this is similar to the argument that one cannot be a true Tiger fan and find fault with coaching performance. Each of those individuals you're angry at probably agrees with you in wanting a financially strong university, just as they want a successful athletic program. All will not agree, however, on how to get there or stay there.
