Ohio State didn't "forfeit" a season. It was vacated. Every opponent that lost to Ohio State in 2010 still has a loss for that game. Besides, you know what the results were on the field. You're using an excuse as bias.
Florida went .500 last year and has had a few meh seasons mixed in during the last decade but you choose to include them or...
Georgia.
2010-2011 Record 6-7
2009-2010 Record 8-5
IF Georgia wins their bowl game this will be their 3rd season with only two losses in the last decade. Seasons with 1 loss? Zero. Their average season in the last decade is 4 losses.
Forfeit/vacate........is their really a big difference? You knew what I meant.

So can we all agree that the 3 SEC schools are automatically included in the top5......Period.
Florida
LSU
Alabama
Then the last 2 spots are going to either Ohio State, Oklahoma, U$C, Tejas, or Oregon.

Yes they did and was that an accomplishment in the SEC east last season (2011)?
And I did know what you meant. Was pulling your chain a bit.

Ok, I didn't read the whole thread to get the context. Just saw an OSU fan talking shite about last season (when we beat y'all in the bowl game)
So my apologies. And I'd put OSU in the top5, fwiw. OSU & u$c are probably the 2 schools to round out the top5 with the other 3 SEC schools

Yes, except for Texas as they've been pretty mediocre for three straight seasons and I'm not seeing an upside and Oregon for the reasons I stated. USC will be back when they ditch Kiffin. He's had quite a few decommits from that class in the last couple of weeks. There are a lot of chinks in the USC armor right now. IMO of course.

I may be dumb but I'm not stupid.

VA, after looking at the polls since 06, you are right about UGA. I would put OSU above them, right behind UF at #6

I suppose. It depends on what the criteria are. Oklahoma has been a little lackluster lately. Texas has been really lackluster lately (I know they made tons of money, so that's why it depends). USC has kinda sucked for two seasons now. They have some more probation effects to work through still.
Ohio State and Oregon both have top coaches, win consistently, and are making big profits. Despite Ohio State's current probation, I think they are about to dominate their league for the foreseeable future. Oregon will continue their high level for sure as long as Chip Kelly sticks around. They have a lot of money behind that program so I'm sure they'll find a successor if he goes to the NFL.

In any particular order over the last 10 years.
I don't really see how you can put Oregon in the top 5.

From 2002-2012?
I don't really see how you can't have USC in the top 5.

Look dipshit I'll make it easy for you since you don't understand what program means and are basing this off one year like a tool.
This is why it's dumb to say "right now" when talking about best CFB programs. Everybody has a different opinion on what "Right now" means.

LSU, Oregon, Florida don't belong in the top 5 historically
Florida has been relevant since the nineties, and LSU has been in the mix for over a decade. Minnesota was running roughshod over everybody 75 years ago. Does that make them a Top 5 program?

We've actually been relevant since before the 90's.....but don't tell anyone

USC hasn't done anything noteworthy during that time span that they didn't have to forfeit.
Oregon has been solid the past few seasons, but not enough for them to outshine Alabama, LSU, Florida, Oklahoma, or Ohio State.
They won a Rose Bowl, lost one, and lost a national championship game.

I personally don't get all the LSU hype. Since 2005 they have played in the following non BCS games.
Capital One - 2
Peach/Chick Fil A - 3 Counting this season
Cotton - 1
A good team, but far from dominant. Say what you want about the 2008 National Title (2 losses). Last season was the only season I give LSU credit for being a top 2-3 dominant team.

I guess you don't bother counting the 2 National Championships and the Sugar Bowl that they played in during the same time frame. What a great point you make.
