Some people find it difficult to let go of adolescence.
That must mean you make fun of people who still watch Home Alone. Getting older sucks
coming from someone who is older than everyone on this board.
Why aren't you at the hornets game?
This movie is PG13 BTW. It's a book for kids and adults.

I don't think so. I'm gonna do the friday night or Saturday. I have work the next morning and I will be miserable the next morning.
You?

This bewildered me also. I easily saw a two parter but not a trilogy.
I wasn't really surprised about a trilogy. *SPOILERS*
Movie 1 ends with Bilbo's encounter with Gollum. Movie 2 ends with their encounter with Smaug. Movie 3 ends with the Battle of 5 Armies. With enough extra source material to fill the movies out.

no spoilers yet. Even though we all read the book I still want to be surprised about how it ends.
Any chance Gimli makes a appearance?

Nah. I've never done a midnight showing actually. It could be the best movie of all time and I'll be passed out by 1:00 for sure. With this you wouldn't be getting out of the theatre I guess around 3:00. then the ride home. Getting in bed around 4:00.

I didn't expect it but locally AMC Elmwood the Palace in Harahan is giving the options for regular non-3d, standard 3d, 3d in imax, and 3d high frame rate.
I think I will just stick to 3d imax, which is probably the most expensive option If I enjoy the movie enough I will go back and maybe pay for the high frame rate version just to see what all the fuss is about.
Probably going to try and go Saturday Matinee, if not then I will put it off till Monday. Don't want to be out of the conversation for too long

I read somewhere in the USA today that there are 6 options to see this movie. The most ever in cinema history
The most anticipated movie of the year is upon us. The puzzle is set the pieces are moving. Then we have all next year for another then the following summer.

No, it doesn't.

Movie 2 ends with their encounter with Smaug.
Debatable. Sources say it ends with his death.
quote:
Movie 3 ends with the Battle of 5 Armies.
Not quite. Expect a ROTK ending denouement.
And CP3...awesome stuff man. Can't wait.
