Seattle losing to San Fran at home, AND STL/Arizona at home
or
Chicago losing 3 of their last 4, at Minnesota, vs Green Bay, at Arizona, at Detroit

Seattle. They lose their starting corners for basically the remainder of the season. I think San Fran and STL beats them.

The Rams have been playing well lately, with a tie, 1 possession loss, and 2 wins. I am just worried that if they lose one more game they would have nothing to play for when they face Seattle last game of the season. San Fran could take care of Seattle. I think that without both of their starting Corners, who are very good, the Seahawks talented defense takes a huge hit these last 4 games.
Green Bay could take care of Chicago. Detroit lost to the Bears by 1 possession on the road the first time they faced each other. But will Detroit be playing for anything? Chicago plays at Minnesota but I don't really trust Minnesota.
I don't believe Arizona beats either Chicago or Seattle so no mention of them.
Biggest fear would be Chicago finishing 10-6, Seattle 9-7, and the Saints 9-7. With us missing out due to a tiebreak.

If Chicago and the Saints both end up at 9-7, Saints would own tiebreaker. Don't think it happens, but it's something to root for.

Seattle needs to lose 3. We lose the tiebreaker at 9-7.

Saints winning the next four.
It's a tall order to be sure. Those early losses to the likes of Carolina and Kansas City have put us back to the olden days of win and hope for the rest to shake out.
I hated those days...
and I hate these days.

What sucks about this is the gift win Seattle has from the Green Bay- replacement ref fiasco.
I think they will probably lose 2 more games, especially losing some key defensive players. There gift win, if we win out, will probably keep us out. Unfortunate, but that's how our season has gone. Losing to a team like KC is inexcusable, head coach or not, and will also play a large part in a playoff miss. I think Chicago could lose 3 of their next 4, but It's just not likely. I think they will split their final stretch.
We need to win out, for pride more than anything. From there, let's just hope for a miracle along the way. There is still a slim chance for this team to squeeze in, but let's just hope they finish this season off the way they are capable of.
If they can finish 8-8 after having no coach, no assistant coach for 6 games, starting 0-4, severe media distractions, and more, I'd call that very impressive. No doubt in my mind that this team will bounce back next year and be a force.

frick! I didn't even think about that. If we go 9-7 and lose out to Seattle that will hurt.

Hopefully Kolb will come back because Lindley sucks

Their defense certainly is good enough to limit Seattle's points. They probably only need 17 points to win the game.

I'm going to be especially pissed considering how happy I was Green Bay got screwed thinking that would be the final straw that got the refs back. But in reality, it looks like that's what could have screwed us

Yeah but think of it this way, if Green Bay hadn't gotten screwed, the ref's might not have been brought back for a few more weeks. We then might have had bad calls screw us out of the San Diego, Tampa or other wins. Or possibly, a missed call lead to season ending/ career ending injury to a key Saints player.
This is a stretch, but if it makes you feel better, your welcome

True. That's actually funny because the real refs tried to hand us the GB game and we couldn't close it out

Seattle, their D is about to be a creampuff.

I can think of shitty calls for us in games:
Tampa game shouldn't have game down to the wire, remember the Harper INT called back? Yea me too.
The KC game should've been over with a PT touchdown. that eventually led to a Hartley missed field goal and no points.
(this game really might be the story of our year.) We should be at worst, 6-6 right now with a 4 game stretch to win 3 out 4.

i think it will be harder for the saints to win the ext 4 to be honest. we just arent playing well right now.

Everyone outside of Drew's turnovers has been playing well enough to beat every non-elite team in the league IMO

BAD NEWS:
Sherman from the Seahawks will play their next game, against the Cardinals. His appeal hearing is December 14th. Browner's hearing date has not yet been set.
We didn't really expect them to lose to the Cardinals anyway, but this isn't good either way.
