Any Tiger fan as old as myself HATES NOTRE DAME even more than we hate Alabama.

I would hate Notre Dame even if the refs hadn't screwed us over in that 3-0 game and even if they hadn't screwed us out of the Cotton Bowl in 1969. They were always a privileged bunch that didn't have to play by the same rules as everybody else.

I'm probably as old as you or older. And while I understand not loving ND, that 3-0 is long ago. The Bama hatred is as old and still current.

You mean like getting to a BCS CG even though they were in a conference and didn't win it or their division? While they only beat 3 teams with a winning record but get touted because of the "eyeball" test? How about having their conference schedule include 2 teams from the opposite division next year with a combined conference record of 1-15 (the one win being 1 over the other) while their main division rival plays teams that are a combined 14-2 this year?

Or maybe you mean claiming a split MNC despite losing a bowl to the undefeated team that won the NC in the other poll?

Blame the Cotton Bowl. Not ND.

ND has ZERO AND I MEAN ZERO shot at beating Bama. This will be a rout in the same way that Nebraska beat FLA in '96.TOTAL DESTRUCTION.

Yep. For me the prospect of either winning makes me ill. The way last night's SEC-CG was officiated over to Bama is sickening. UGa was just hosed. Honestly at this stage I couldn't care less which of them wins the NCG. Don't know that I've been this disinterested in a NCG in my life. I doubt I'll even watch.

Only Alabama could finish third in their conference and make the National Championship Game, so let's not talk about "privileged."
