I've never been a Miles hater or a Miles apologist. I've always been ambivalent towards him. And I'm not sure why.

But the man reeks integrity and class. Loves his players to death. He is a great family man and a great role model for his players and anyone who pays attention.

So I think it's time I stop being such a dumb arse and support this guy and appreciate what he has done for LSU football. I'm 51 years old so I remember well the "dark days" at LSU.

So here's to you Les. Your newest fan

We were behind him 100% and then he shitted bed on Jan 9th. Ok fine, an aberration well you would think that with that much of a beat down and humiliation, he would have his team playing like craze men to get back to their rightful place in Miami and take the damn crown we where suppose to have worn last year after the mulligian that was Alabama.

Well somehow our team got WORSE and our offense harken back to 2009-2010 era. Worse we use to be WRU and now all of our WR are undersize and have catching problems. We also realize most other superstar WR are going to other school because of miles philosophy of using WR to run block, that's it.

We found ourselves being a one dimensional running team,w which while it works is nice but when they are stacking the box and you run the ball because you don't think our QB can throw? That's a problems.

I don't think the majority of the fans hate miles , but this he is in Louisiana, they are a culture that like to see something not conservatively nothing. I think that is what get people angry is Les Miles does not seem to adapt to the changing situation on the field, rather he go with the weather the storm method of play which drives people crazy.

That does not gel with Louisianians from what I observe. They want the Mad Hatter not the man that play down to his competition.

Miles is here to stay. We should rally around him and the team and show them our full support. It's the best thing we can do for the program. You know, stay past halftime now and then.

There are people that just live to bitch. We could have a staff of resurrected hall of fame coaches and they would still bitch.

It's 14-0, conference & national champs, 700 yards of offense, 0 points/yards for the opponent, or the coaching staff clearly sucks.

Miserable bastards. How do they enjoy watching football? Why bother?

ETA: That doesn't mean people can't criticize. Miles has done plenty of this to warrant criticism. The body of work speaks for itself though. If you see a crap body of work, then you're the problem, not Miles.

Blah blah blah. We have been frustrating offensively for like a decade now. You either think Miles gets the most out of the talent or you don't.

I mean I love LSU football, was bred in it but to me has a shorter leash now. With a salary like that you better win a championship in the next three-five years. If not it would be a waste of some serious money.

This is not one of miles qualities. A man of integrity would fullfil a contract he signed without using bullshite jobs every other year to gain a raise

Nothing but integrity and class and this is the second time he has forced LSU to raise his salary in order to keep him and denies everything and cites loyalty..give me a break. Class...lets let Jarett Lee take a knee in the championship game who has meant so much to the team over his tenure here and not give him a chance to lead his team.
