I am showing someone Star Wars for the first time. What order? 4,5,6,1,2,3 or 1,2,3,4,5,6? And is there anything they should know before we start?

Darth Vader is such a huge part of Star Wars that you need to begin with him.

if you go 1,2,3,4,5,6 then you wouldnt get him until 4.

And considering the suckage of 1,2 and kinda 3 then your buddy will quit on watching the series.

Production order. There's a lot of things from the OT that you are supposed to know as you watch the PT.

Why would you even bother showing the prequels? They are terrible.

According to Lucas, Star Wars was the story of Darth Vadar. From his childhood to his death.

4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3

Fwiw

I liked the prequels, but I guess it's cause I was young when they came out

But you could skip 1 and 2 and not miss much.

How young were you? I just don't understand how Jar Jar made the team. He should have been a Day 1 cut.
