Look, before you start flaming let me say I 100% agree our Defense is the strength of the team and has been for some years, however, I strongly feel the D gets too much credit and the O too little by many of you..a few facts to consider from past 3 years where we are 34-5

Defense failed to stop Bama on last drive this year after O gave us 4 pt lead (should have been more, but give up 6 so easy was on the D)

Wihtout O and special teams we lose to UM this year...easy to see

Ark loss in 10 was at least 50% due to D breakdowns, incl 80 yard pass before half
Aub loss in 2010 we gave up 450+ yards and 65 yard run in 4th q when we were tied
UF loss this year on O or course
NC game on O, but D gave up tons of yards, special teams also failed us

Wihtout strong O we maybe lose to WVU and Oregon in 2011, UNC, UF, UM and A&M in 10...sure our offense is the relative weak spot, but the D shares in some of the biggest losses and near losses...

I completely disagree about the bama game. ST's, lack of red zone eff, failed 4th and 1 conversion. That being said, both sides played extremely well.

The scheme has got to change for LSU on defense.

Coaching failed us against Bama. I love Miles but sometimes it feels like he and his staff aren't even trying to win.
