myth that Tennessee can't recruit is totally overblown.

Georgia is top 3~top4 talent rich state in the nation and UGA is the flagship school there right? UGA always had top recruiting classes and UT stood its ground head-to-head against UGA in recruiting

I completely agree - you guys just need a coach to bring out the talent in the recruits.

I agree. Not sure why folks say UT cant recruit. For as long as I remember UT has always brought good talent to Knox. The state may not be on par with GA, Fla, LA, Ala, etc..but that has never hindered UT. You throw in Gruden and the exposure he will bring, UT recruiting will go through the roof. They should then be able to lock down the state of TN and pillage GA, then work from there. It will be interesting to follow this coaching search with you knob slobbin Vols and I do think Gruden or not, Hart and the money guys will get it right this time. I hope yall do get Gruden, would be a good thing for UT, TSIO, and the SEC as a whole
