Just looked it up. Sept 1994. Wow time flies.
It was actually kind of sad. He didnt tip. He was betting $5 on the pass line and obviously didnt have much money or really know the game. He lost his 2 chips and left. He couldn't understand English at all. I guess it was at the end of his career.
FWIW Ditka was the best tipper and it wasn't even close.
Sal of Westbank Seafood fame was the biggest bettor.
And David Duke was an even bigger arse hole than you would expect.

I've met him multiple times at the gym I train at near Biloxi. Loud and obnoxious, but you can't help but like him. I'll make a few calls in the am to find out wtf happened.

Funny story, I was interviewing for a marketing job at a boxing gym in fat city around 2000, and while I'm interviewing he walks in and asked the owner where he could get a haircut. I think he sent him to the super cuts on Severn
