i'm not saying that wake isn't better

i'm saying that neither are legit threats to an elite team, so they're all in a big mass of teams who pose essentially equal risks to an elite team. any difference in threat level is negligible

That's where you are wrong. Teams in the 30-60 range can be threats. They have some NFL players, some times 1-2 round type of talent. If they have a special player at QB or RB that can go off, that can be a threat. They can also have great coaches. People are bashing WKU as an ultimate scrub, but Taggart is a good up and coming coach. We'll see how he does ata bigger program, but playing C Mich with Kelly or BG with Urban was a lot tougher than playing a true scrub like Savannah St.
