Poors with gametime tickets, no doubt.

I'm with you BilJ. The stadium was a fricking joke yesterday from the beginning. It was never full, the place really started emptying after halftime and by the start of the 4th it was embarrassing. We don't deserve the hype because of one game every few years. Last time people get to be in Tiger Stadium and watch a pretty good LSU team..... so fricking pathetic.

I was wearing shorts and went back to the motor home.

I put on some flannel pj's and snuggled up with a blanky on the couch and watched the 2nd half on TV.

that or maybe they were so wasted they had to leave?

I truly think this is part of the problem; people have been drinking all day (or all morning), and are hungover by the start of the third quarter. The pre-game party has become the primary, and the actual game has become the secondary purpose for being on campus. This is pretty much why I stopped drinking a lot before LSU football games.

Sorry for being passionate about the Tigers.

I sat on the West side, near the 40 yard line, halfway up. Perfect seats, but they aren't mine. I just sat there because the wine and cheese Tiger fans don't show up. There was an older couple sitting in front of me, and they left at the start of the 4th quarter. I truly believe that they may have left because I yelled a few times. I never yelled an obscenity, I only yelled at the refs, twice, and once at our coaches for not spreading Ole Miss out inside the 10 yard line and forcing us to settle for yet another 20 yard field goal. This older couple, sat in their seats and never said a word the entire game. I understand not acting like a student, but these two never seemed to be amused at the game one single bit. No cheering, no nothing. Then to leave at the start of the 4th quarter, why even show up. Some people enjoy the atmosphere of being at the game, instead of watching on tv. But with that atmosphere, comes some idiot fans. If some jerk is yelling curse words, and griping about the team all game, I can see that being annoying. But if one or two outbursts in an exciting game makes you want to leave, why even go in the first place?

It's one thing if you're beating the crap out of North Texas, but if you left that game last night you fricking suck at life.

It was multiple people, and they were also trying to pick fights with the Ole Miss fans. Their tickets are a few rows up from where the visitors seats stop. Those same people have nearly gotten in fights with other LSU fans over the last few years. They really make it difficult to enjoy the game. So I can understand my parents, specifically my mom, just not wanting to be around those people any longer.

You were on the opposite side of the stadium from my parents, I don't think you had any bearing on their decision.

ETA: There was a guy near me that was playing on a fricking Ipad the entire game. I wanted to slap it out of his hands.

There was probably only 70K in the stadium at the start of the game. The upper decks were half full. It was a shitty crowd.

Broads who just stayed long enough to get their picture taken in the stadium to post on facebook to show they do trendy things.

Yeah, that wasn't me. I was polite to the Ole Miss fan behind me, i admitted to him that Ole Miss' offense pistol whipped our defense, there was no fluke in them being in the game.

But I usually find empty seats on the West side, and there were tons of people leaving early from the high dollar seats yesterday. I can't understand why those people show up midway through the first quarter and leave halfway through the third quarter.

I am glad you brought it up. I wanted to call in to the post game show and rant but I restrained myself.

If there is one of those early exiters on here I would like to know WTF are you thinking when you decide to leave while ur team is losing at half.

I was encuraged however that the first wave of exiters was the only wave I saw. Seemed like everyone else stayed to the end.

Also, did you guys see the Oregon fans all stay at the end of a loss? What was up with that?

Saints have such better fans than LSU. Rarely if ever see the dome empty out like that

Numerous saints fans are trashy.
Trashy people don't have many other places to be, so they stay.

Better?
