We lost the best secondary coach since Saban to Tampa Bay. Contrary to popular belief, coaching does matter...ask Arkansas and Auburn.

Vinson, Gibson, Jenkins. Not superstars, but you add that to Tyrann and that's a blow to depth. Jenkins would def. be playing.

Yeah, and they still gave up 35 points and 463 yards, that's not good

The corners haven't matured yet. Chavis defense doesn't work without corners who can play man.

Idk what's up with the missed tackles and bad angles...

That doesn't work when you have s bye week in the middle of that stretch.

They could be tired but they have a lot to play for. This bend but don't break is killing some of the older Tigers in Death Valley (no pun intended).

It's not completely the secondary's fault. Our superstar DLine has been getting zero pressure and allowing average QBs all day to throw

Reid might be back next year

He won't be, but if you based his draft slot on this year I'm not sure he'd be drafted on the first two days.

What the hell happened to him?

This.

Anyone notice how much better Tampa's secondary is playing this year compared to last? Cooper is the best secondary coach in all of football and losing him was a huge blow.

Tharold Simon stunk it up just as much as the others. He lost his footing a few times on 2 big plays. Not to mention we jumped on all the stop n go routes

A football team, even a great defensive team, is not going to play well for every single game. It almost never happens. Relax.

For one I think the defense has built up a lot of credit over the years. However, I'm a little concerned since the Bama game. We used to devour running games and render our opponent one dimensional. That is when our pass rush is effective as evidenced by the drive where we got back to back sacks. We have to stop the run on early downs.

I was impressed that Jalen Mills hasn't really been getting attacked. They went at Simon and Collins most of yesterday. Whatever the case, we better get it fixed or Arky and/or the bowl game will not be fun to watch.

Looks like teams picked up on Chavis's 2 minutes defense and try to run their version of 2 minutes offense for 60 minutes.

Secondary has been bad the last two weeks

All season.

Just was able to get pressure on the QB and played some pretty bad teams. Meat of he schedule, lack of pressure on the QB exposed how bad the secondary really is
