nobody would want that and your trying to be stupid just for the sake of it.

I actually like the idea of the six teams with the first 2 having a bye, then all the games would matchup perfectly with the BCS bowls and NCG bowl, without alternating.

You guys just love this stupid arse chaos at the end of the year, every year.

no i just don't like the idea of giving teams a shot for the title who should never get that shot

and i hate tying in playoff appearances to conferences, which WILL happen

Wait....what?

32 is over the top.

But while cries for a top 16 wasn't common, it wasn't exactly rare either.

And a 16 team playoff would make the regular season COMPLETELY irrelevant for the teams that should contend for the title.

We wouldn't be in a tizzy over Oregon and Kansas State losing because literally nothing would have changed other than seeding.
