I heard a Doug Gottlieb snippet during an earlier Finebaum break with him claiming that A&M's win against Bama and success in the SEC, while they struggled against the Big 12 last year, proves the SEC is overrated and the Big12 underrated. Idiot.

Agree 100%. What it proves is that the media's 'Bama obsession was always unrealistic. They're good--probably the best team in the country, but not in a whole different category. Michigan--not that good. Moo U--not that good. LSU--good, but not world beaters. aTm--a team capable of rising up and putting points on the board in excess of what the 'Bama defense was accustomed to allowing and in excess of what the'Bama offense was accustomed to overcoming.

the narrative this week from the fans will be this...
Monday - Tough game, questionable play calling at the end but proud of the players
Tuesday - we outscored them 24-9 after the first quarter
Wednesday - if not for the cheap shot on Lacy he would have been available to run it in to win the game
