I didn't say anything about santos, my point is that if the 10th best team in the country has three that are better (not to mention Gibbs and jenks are younger than chandler) and taking into account that even slightly worse clubs will have one or two that are better there are probably 40-50 fullbacks AT LEAST that are better than him.. If he was even close to top 10 in the world don't you think Germany would have called him up?

I'm not saying he's bad, I'm saying that he's not world class..

He probably wants assurances about playing time from the Germans. In other words, he doesn't want to end up with some token caps against San Marino in Euro 2016 qualifiers to make sure he can't play elsewhere.

But he is behind Lahm (definitely one of the top 5 in the world) and Boateng

Even though the Arse is struggling right now, I wouldn't say that they are the 10th best team in the EPL. I give them a bit more credit than that.

Have you watched Nurenburg play this season? It's hard for you to make such a definitive assertion when you're comparing players you see every week to a player you haven't watched since the last time he was capped for the U.S.

I'm not saying he's better than the 3 you listed or that he's anywhere near the top-10 right now. Also, don't take the fact that Loew hasn't called him in as any indication of his talent level. Jogi has been ripped to shreds for his stubborness in regards to defense. He's either too hard-headed or too lazy to go out and find a fullback not named Philipp Lahm. He would just rather stick a center back out there and see how it goes.

I'm 100% confident that both Chandler and Fabian Johnson are good enough to play a lot of games for Germany.
