That was also 10 years ago and he had unreal production in college that Landry won't match

Watch an NFL draft and tell me how many sub-6 foot receivers get drafted early?

Devery Henderson - Bluegrass Mericle - Ring A Bell????
Devery Henderson was one of the purest deep threats to come out in years. He wasn't, and isn't, an overall great WR; but if he gets 1 step on you and the ball is in stride, he never ever gets caught from behind. Ever.

Landry has nowhere near that speed.

I agree that he will not see the production. Just trying to compare JL to the last great WR at LSU with similar measurables.

Reed was something special though. Biletnikoff Booyah.

Obviously...your exposure to Tiger Football is very limited! How long you been watching...6 weeks?

Are you serious? Landry is not a pro prospect.

He's a sophmore having a pretty good season. He has all the makings of a guy that can play at the next level.

if you look at our former high picks at WR, he is right on pace to do what they did as SOPH.

He just had struggled to catch the balls thrown at OBJ earlier in the year.

Don't you mean it took 10 games for Stud to stop throwing everything to OBJ?

Or 10 games before our O-line came together to protect the QB. Or 10 games before Mett became pretty good at reading a defense, going through progressions, and making perfect throws.

A lot of first time starters have really progressed during the course of the year to get this offense where it is today.
