You can build a super quiet rig that is air cooled if you by the right case and fans.

I also have a couple of the Korean IPS monitors and can vouch for them as well. Tremendous value and if I'm not mistaken you can get 2 for the price of a regular Dell or Samsung one of similar quality.

I would like a wireless mouse and keyboard for my work laptop, and I would like to upgrade my video card on my home PC.. not sure that I will be able to upgrade it though.

What is your motherboard, case and power supply? Those will tell you how easily you can upgrade the video card.

ITs also a P67 chipset. Right now, I think its worth the extra $50 to get a z77. Its far more future proof and better for overclocking
