Think about it, just like Bama did last year at home against us, we missed crucial field goals that changed the game. If we make those two missed, and kick the rather than fake the one, we're up by 12 when Bama gets the ball with less than 2 mins left... just a thought

Or maybe it is making your kicker kick a field goal that only would put your team up by 6 whenever he should have attempted a 47 yarder earlier in the game, and had another 47 yarder. Instead we try a 4th and 12 fake field goal and a run up the middle with Ware on a direct snap. No way we miss all those field goals.

I put this in another thread but here is what we likely points on or off the board and define the game:

In summary:
-3 points on fake FG at 30 yard line. Were at 13 before Copeland penalty
-3 on 54 yard miss
-3 or 7 on WareCat 4th Down at Bama 24
-3 or 7 on missed 45 yard FG
-14 when the Tigers turned into the 2011 Saints D at the end of 49ers game to close both halfs.

Obviously (looking back) we should have punted instead of attempting the 54 yard field goal before half.

This would be true. And then Chavis' soft defense wouldn't have been a factor and we would have won anyway. But the reality of it is the fgs were missed and we were up by three anyway, with 90 seconds to go. Chavis put in that soft defense on the edges. Bama rose the the bait and took it home. We lost it. End of story.
