11/3 with put an asterisk by Bama's 1/9 Natty

Bottom line, switch out McCarron for JJ last 1/9, and the results would be reveresed. Saban did not beat LSU. McCarron beat JJ and Miles. Period. No question about it. Joe Biden could have coached Bama that night to a win over the hapless Tigers.
But, when LSU beats Bama this Saturday, LSU will be a 1/9 anomaly away from having beaten the Saban-coached Bama team the last 4 meetings. Since 1/9 is in the history books, the best we can get out of this is 3 of the last 4.
When LSU beats Saban and Bama, that will be the reality. It will finally unveil the truth of the series, and a HUGE asterisk will have to be recognized by any honest observer that Bama did not beat LSU on that highly anomalous night, it was simply Les and JJ facilitating McCarron beating JJ on the best passing day of his life.
Everyone wants to point out our 2003 season being shared with USC. Everyone always wants to point out how our 2007 Natty was with 2 triple OT losses.
It is time to bring Saban down from the mantle, to put that huge asterisk by Bama's 2011 Natty, and for Les to go up 4-3 in the head-to-head series, including 3 of the last 4 head-to-head meeetings.
LSU 23
Bama 17

Bottom line. Switch score on 1/9 and we win! (But no, Miles wouldn't do it!)

So basically Alabama's thrashing of us was a fluke? But us sneaking in the back door of the 07 BCSNCG and winning was totally legit? We had every opportunity to win on 1/9 and we didnt. Hence, Alabama 2011 national champions. 2012 a totally different year. When we beat them this Saturday, it will solidify this team's greatness and has nothing to do with last January.

Please hurry up Saturday.

Their National Championship last year was just as legit as both of ours.

If LSU wins this week I hope the pundits recognize Saban was only able to beat Miles and LSU after 6 weeks of practice for our servicable offense. He couldn't do it in the course of 3 seasons. I know Miles had 6 weeks as well, but I think it calls to attention Miles' coaching job during the season. He knew what he had a QB and still swept the SEC and nation. Of course, if a solid coach had 6 weeks and a mulligan to shut down one of our few offensive strengthes I would put the odds in their favor to win.

Yes. And with a second chance in the same season. And God himself will have lost to Les Miles 3 out of the last 4 times.
