Dig Bayless' defense.
Rudy has become a liability.

First half of the new season thoughts:
I still cringe any time TA attempts a shot. That doesn't make me love him any less.
Rudy takes horrible shots.
Mo Speights at 7' could legitimately play the 3, 4, and 5.
Mike needs to get under control.
Bayless is going to win us some games.
ZBo and Mark just fricking those guys are fantastic.

Put me in whatever group you deem appropriate, but I am most certainly behind the Grizz after the Hornets. I will always be New Orleans first, but I lived in Memphis for too long not root for them to do well. I even pull for the Memphis Tigers.

I know Rudy scored a bunch of points last night but he's such a liability defensively it pisses me off. Also Mikey needs to get his head out of his arse

Brevin was going to town last night, seems to me he's taken on the grinding mentality of the team.
zingers everywhere.

I want Brevin and Pete every game. Sean Touhey is irritation personified.

Touhey works when he wants, he'll probably do something like 6 or 7 games this year.

I have no doubt that Tuohy bought his way into that job. What the hell are his qualifications to be an NBA commentator?

Somewhat decent college player+taco bells+adopting poor black kids = success in broadcasting

I live in Memphis now.... I'll pull for some grizz since they are going to be force fed to me every single time I go out.
I refuse to like the Memphis tigers. Their fan base is more delusional about basketball than any I've ever come across.

+1
They've convinced themselves that the last 3 years of the Calipari era is what they always were, and what they should always be.
grizz are the shite though just go to a few games, and you'll be hooked.

Grizzlies vs. Warriors
Where, when: Oracle Arena, 9:30 p.m. CDT, Oakland, Calif.
TV, radio: SportSouth; WMFS (92.9-FM/680-AM)
Records: Grizzlies 0-1, Warriors 1-0
Lineups
Grizzlies: Mike Conley, 6-1, Tony Allen, 6-4, Rudy Gay, 6-8, Zach Randolph, 6-9, Marc Gasol, 7-1.
Warriors: Stephen Curry, 6-3, Klay Thompson, 6-7, Harrison Barnes, 6-8, David Lee, 6-9, Andrew Bogut, 7-0.
THE SKINNY
The Grizzlies simply need a perimeter scorer other than Rudy Gay to make shots. Tony Allen, Mike Conley, Jerryd Bayless, Wayne Ellington and Quincy Pondexter combined to go 7 of 33 from the field in a season-opening loss Wednesday night against the Clippers. Meanwhile, the Warriors under coach Mark Jackson are trying to transition from a run-and-gun offense to a more balanced attack with center Andrew Bogut on the roster. Who to watch? Curry, who will be gunning to make up for a stinker in an opening-night win against the Suns. He missed his first 10 shots and finished 2 of 14 from the floor and 0 for 6 from beyond the arc.
