When is the last time we had "no shot"

I can't remember the last time LSU was counted out this bad by everyone including our own fan base. It is widely known that the majority of the country thinks we have absolutely no shot at all. When is the last time this happend? I remember Florida back in 08/09 but a lot of people thought we could pull off an upset. Not even on upset alert for this one.

Georgia 03? Oregon last year maybe? It's been a long time since we were clear underdogs.

I was wondering this same thing, and the only time I can think of is Florida from 1990-2001.

To the extent it is this weekend? Probably against some of Spurrier's Florida teams, 2000/2001.

Last year you could talk to plenty of people who thought we would roll Oregon, also saying we could win at Bama. I haven't talked to a single person who thinks we can win.

That's what I figured.

I really think Bama 2010 was close to this. If not, you'd probably have to go back to Florida 2001, and Tennessee 2000.
Florida did stomp us in Tiger Stadium, but we got the last laugh at the end of the season.
Tennessee was the week after the UAB debacle. We were double digit underdogs to the Vols.

I really think you guys are overstating the "everybody thinks we have absolutely no shot" sentiment. It may be true that very few are actually picking LSU to win the game, but plenty of people are acknowledging that LSU can win and that it will likely be a close game. A lot of the media score predictions are still calling for a fairly close game. Not exactly in the "absolutely no shot" category.

93' Bama and 97' Florida. We did pretty good for having no shot.
