I disagree and think if Saban had played field position and not tried all those long field goals, the game could have been different. I also think Miles out coached him in OT.

Do you not remember 2010? Do you not remember the way he beat Bama? That gameplan was far from conservative.

One of the keys is not necessarily to completely out coach Saban. The gump players have not had to face any true adversity this year on the field except trailing to Ole Piss for about 15 seconds (and getting their asses chewed by Saban).

Saban cannot be on the field to execute FOR his players. Looking at the recent games we need to force the gumps to "press." Pressure their QB and stop the run. Force them to make plays and get them to make some mistakes.

Very accurate statement. Miles usually looks like a better coach than Saban in games like this.

He know that when we get inside the 5, we can't run up the gut 3 times and kick FGs and rely on his defense only.
. Is not a given that he "knows this", its your speculation. For sure this will make the difference in winning or losing the game, however.

How many times has Miles out coached anybody? Not very many.

My God dude. Go jump off a bridge. The man is the most successful head coach in LSU history and on pace to be one of the most successful in SEC history yet he hardly ever 'out coaches' anyone?

Give me a break. He's beaten countless national title winning coaches. Talent doesn't win by itself, even if you refuse to give Miles any credit, that still holds true.

When LSU wins this weekend that will make it 3 of the last 4 Miles has beaten Bama.

It was 1 game dude. Let it go. It's not like he is coming home with nothing. He has 1 National Title and 2 SEC Titles. 1 just last year.

Name who you would want to battle Saban in the West? Who would do a better job of that than what Miles has done?

I agree....Miles has done well head to head against Saban. I just wish the rest of Miles' coaching opportunities were as focused and effective....

No. It was a National Title Game !!! The reason we lost is because of discipline. Miles' players were out on the town partying it up til 2-3am while Saban's players were locked down in their rooms focusing on the game and preparation. Discipline. Plain and simple. Saban deserved to win the National Title. Bama was more focused and disciplined than Miles' team/program.

Pisses me off to no end...

bullshite.
Saban's decisions to keep trying long field goals that he knew his kicker couldn't make, instead of playing field position with one of the best defenses of all time, were some of the dumbest coaching decisions I've seen.
It was obvious to anyone with any football knowledge that Saban was outcoached that day.

Sorry I said something about your boyfriend that you didn't like. I explained myself in earlier posts. Miles doesn't need to out coach Saban, just have a solid plan and coach a descent game and we'll be ok

I'll make a deal with you. If Miles pulls this one off and beats Bama. I will turn from a nega-Miles into a posi-Miles... And will never talk bad about Miles on here again.

deal ?

Not a fan of reading comprehension are ya bud?

You said you wished Miles coached as well against other teams/coaches as he does against Saban...well he actually beat every single team/coach on his schedule last season.
