Slackster, you gave that away w/your opening sentence. "Regardless how the game is played...."
Thats what I usually bitch about, the way we play. In all fairness to myself, I did not bitch about lst weeks game nor did I bitch about our W vs Bama in regular season last yr. But I am bitching about yesterday... If Mett shows up w/that same shite against Bama, that will be the advantage Bama needs to win. We have a great chance outside of QB play.

Cap, LSU is not going to beat Alabama in football this season, so, you won't have to worry about that.

But, who am I kidding? You'll be on here attacking the critics no matter what happens.

Miles has lots of grounds for criticism, and, people who attack his critics miss the point of message boards, which is to vent and to discuss.

You'd have to have blinders on to predict an LSU win over Alabama right now -- you'd have to be wearing blinders and kind of delusional.

That's fine, of course. We really need the players and coaches to believe in their ability to win that game. Fans who are objective observers of football, because they bet on the games, or for other such reasons, are not going to predict an LSU win.

Based on what we have seen from both teams so far this season, by any objective analytical measure, Alabama wins.

But, to directly address your post, I will agree with you that no LSU fan should whine under any circumstances, should LSU beat Alabama.

No. The Bama game is sui generis. Bama is justifiably the standard by which many LSU fans measure the team. They are the prevailing national champions and ranked number on in the country. The reason that many folks are complaining about our offensive performance is because they anticipate that a similar performance will result in a loss...against Bama. Should we beat Bama, we will have dispelled that concern.

Yes, it will also mean Bama was overrated and Oregon will smoke us because our coaching sucks. Only if we'd had Saban.

At this point that is a big IF. What till the game is over. They have a shot but certainly not a guarantee.

Looking at the majority of posts on the Rant, I think Les would be fired for putting a stain on Saban's resume.

i would whine if the whiners didn't whine.

for 4 years i've enjoyed the negatigahs/ ranturds.

i am happy to be me and to be a positigah.

i don't understand the psychosis of being negative, but it definitely lets me grateful for my positive demeanor.

again, the purpose me reading the rant is to practice compassion for the negative.

being negative (seeing only better, not the moment) is a sad life.

Yea because after we beat Bama last year all questions were answered about our team & they had no lingering issues. How did that work out for us again?
