Heading there this weekend for the first time. Anyone have any recommendations?

Havent been in a few years, but he has always had an interesting, varied, and changing menu. His gnochhi (and other pastas) are pretty awesome. I recall a veal cheek ravioli and a sunchoke soup as well. Also, he does excellent work with scallops last visit he seared them and set them in a pool of grapefruit butter. Lamb loin also very good.
Its a great spot.

Nice choice. Iris is a really good restaurant that doesn't get talked about very often. I haven't been since December 2009 but I remember having a really good meal there. Hopefully the kitchen is still putting out the same quality dishes. Get the sweetbreads for sure then I would go with either a pasta or fish entree. Very nice wine list too.

One of my favorite places in the city, try to pimp it when I can, never thought they'd make it this long in that location.

Definitely a good place you don't hear enough about. Can't tell you what I had to eat but we really enjoyed everything.
