If it's a bs rationale, why can't you or ANYONE argue against it instead of bringing up another sports reference? My guess is that if any of you had the logical ability to argue LSU is a better university, excluding athletics, you would be able to get into a decent university.

Beyond the gay cheerleaders

Do you not realize that a good percentage of our male cheerleaders are gay?

Which is why we also have female cheerleaders. If they're gay too, I for one don't care.

The cadet marching band, was terrible.

What's even more galling is that the Jughead band plays the same halftime show every time. Only people who know jack squat about music rave about their band.

It's ironic that an A&M fan would bring up "corrupt morality" and turn around and cheer for the Aggies, one of the dirtiest football programs in the NCAA.

Major NCAA violations and A&M go together like an Aggie and a sheep.

As an avid A&M fan AND student, I must say that this does show me just what we're dealing with. Your lack of class shows me exactly what to expect from your fans this weekend. It figures that a social network would have you feeling brave, say that with a bullhorn in the middle of Aggieland and see if you don't get your tail whipped. Walk on the grass, you will be dealt with in a physical manner. I would also like to point out that Honey Badger and I myself are very similar. WE DON"T PLAY COLLEGE FOOTBALL. Johnny Manziel>> LSU. Also Sam Montgomery listens to Nickelback. When he pisses he sits down and still gets it on the seat. May God have mercy on your souls when you come to Kyle Field.

Thanks, and Gig'em "Whoop!"

I would also like to point out that if you knew half of what you were talking about, you would realize the band performs a different halftime show, at EVERY GAME.

Obviously you failed to do your research we were voted the LEAST gay friendly university in the nation. And all y'alls obsession over gays sure makes you seem a little insecure. I'm sure Sandusky would make a fine addition to your coaching staff because yall already take it up the pipe.

Ok, guys enough with the band bullshite

Real quick - I've only cried three times in my life: when I left home and my twin sister for college, when Spock died in Star Trek II and when the A&M band played their fight song during the UT game after the bonfire collapse. Ok, I kinda sorta just misted up a little. The Texas band came out and played "Taps", "Amazing Grace" and some other schlocky horse crap. Then the aggie band took the field, marched in formation playing their fight song totally serious and it was a real 'frick that shite' moment I was witnessing. Was impressed. Tigers 27-21.

I got in late on this discussion, but I got nothing else to do so....My take: Why do some people feel good about putting other people down? This thread is a virtual orgasm of loathing toward another fan base, an SEC member fan base at that. I admit that some of the Aggies' traditions seem weird but some Tiger fans seem pretty weird to me as well. And making generalizations of the type that have been made in this thread are out of touch with reality. My daughter and her family live in Bryan which is the town that adjoins College Station. I have visited College Station numerous times and have been tailgating at the aTm campus and have been to one football game at Kyle field, as well. The people there were very friendly and hospitable (typical Southern town) and the folks that I talked to expressed great respect for LSU and its traditions. (I was wearing my LSU garb, of course) I especially liked the family atmosphere of the stadium and surrounding environs. I hate to say this, but I wish LSU fans displayed the same class that the Aggie fans I observed displayed. To me Kyle field, although it can't touch Tiger Stadium as far as enthusiasm and spirit, was a very enjoyable place to watch a football game. I think LSU fans could learn a lot from the Aggie fans as far as demonstrating class and maintaining a good family atmosphere at football games. I'll bet you'll never hear the Aggie student section come out with the obscenities the LSU student section does. Class is classic, crass is not. Just my 2 cents.

I think a lot of the humor intended by the OP has gotten lost in some of the more pig-headed responses by both sides.

I thought the OP was damn funny.
